S-band MOS Amplifierat 2.4 GHz
A single-stage 2.4 GHz MOSFET RF amplifier designed for Wi-Fi, BLE and telecom front-end applications — full EM and transistor-level simulation in Keysight ADS with a fabricated PCB measured on a VNA.
What was built
- 01
Built a complete schematic and S-parameter simulation environment in Keysight ADS with full stability and convergence analysis.
- 02
Designed and optimised input/output impedance-matching networks using reference planes and microstrip transmission lines.
- 03
Selected and modelled a MOSFET-based gain stage, including nonlinear device characteristics and bias optimisation.
- 04
Achieved simulated wideband performance with acceptable gain, return loss and noise behaviour near 2.4 GHz.

Finalised layout in Altium Designer, prepared the board for fabrication and assembly, and validated performance on a VNA.
